What is Perlin Network?

Perlin network is a new blockchain protocol equipped with a decentralized compute layer and built on an engine that supports vast horizontal-scalability, able to withstand extremely high throughput.

In other words, Perlin network is a protocol that is going to allow developers to tap into the full potential of the blockchain technology and power the decentralized economy on a planetary scale.

The computing resources of the protocol are going to be tied to a virtual currency called PERL. PERL will be first issued as ERC 20 tokens and eventually swapped for the native tokens of the Perlin network.

Top-level project, team, technology and everything

The only downside - the token metrics largely favor the seed round investors and the discounts are ridiculous - dump alert.

Personally invested in it, looking forward to them doing amazing stuff.

Appreciated the Latex whitepaper, as many techinal paper use this format. DAG is a well-known piece of technology. And also Ethereum use it a form of DAG for epoch. Another thing that I appreciated is the use of IPFS for the versioning of the white paper. This project is proposed like an improved version of ethereum. Interesting but also critical aspect. There are many projects that both in the past and currently proposed this goal. And it is not just a problem of technology, but of adoption. Moreover, it is worth considering, that it is not so complicated for the Ethereum network to implement real improvements when these are effectively demonstrated. Another positive aspect is the presence of a github repo where you can see the progress of development work. Not very hectic at the moment. Developers have github accounts, not very popular on average.

Incentivizing the first investors too much is a winning strategy for a quick start, but not very profitable for those who arrive later. And this is another aspect to consider.

They have strong initial investors. Definitely a project to keep an eye on.
